eclipse
of warm sunrise,
calendar page ripples
past slow waves of warmth’s memory,
as autumn fades heart’s photograph
left on mantle for work,
beneath winter’s
eclipse
whisper
of golden wish
underneath thermal throes
of ice laden pathways uncrossed,
tentative flight from crystal’s crimson chill
as sun reflects off glazed windows
from soul that longs for touch
of last summer’s
whisper
dreaming
beneath covers
of sun kissed days now gone,
gray tendrils’ palette obscures orb,
daily desire of life’s last reflection
sets behind eyelids now closing
on twilight of seasons,
soul continues
dreaming

I like this. It seems like something you can glide over and gives me the impression of a reflection. A very eloquently described image. Best of luck in the contest.

I like your use of lines, I generally don't like things along this line but this is nice. Your vocabulary is great and the image is interesting. I find that the vocabulary almost inhibits the understanding of the poem at points though. thank you for entering.
