TV screams,
thriller channel fifteen.
I sleep.
Starlight hangs in the air,
eyes flicker under heavy lids.
Brutal dreams sparked by piercing cries
rise and fall, heightening.
Bruised music shrieks and stumbles,
virulent fumes infect flawless scenery.
Dread and panic induce shakes and shivers.
Thump.
Face meets carpet.
Dawn.
Author notes
I never realized how much I use the letter 'O' until I wrote this. Difficult.
This was edited a few minutes after it was posted, because I found a letter 'O'
