its like the seasons suddenly changed
from summer to winter gloom
without you, the sun just disappears
overcasted and overshadowed by the moon
the flowers close so quickly now
brilliant pinks and reds no more
now everything is brown and dead
nothing could be like before
when you held my hand, the flowers bloomed
the sun smiled ear to ear
the bees bumbled and hummingbirds hummed
as we dreamt about the year
a year to us, a year now past
more to come too
now here we are, a state apart
but I miss and I love you
here I sit tears in my eyes
looking at the seasons change
from bright and happy, to gloomy and sad
how quick it slips the range
gloomy and dark, the sky cries
bleeding from grey to black
growing cold, the wind blows
dying, i need to go back....

I just spent a month with my boyfriend of a year and now that im back home... life isn't right, nothing is right, nothing is happy, nothing is chipper.... i miss him so much it just feels like my heart shatters a little more every time i think about how much i miss him....
