He gazed in wonder at the mirror
thinking: "What a bootiful fella
My desk is maladjusted
It really should be busted
I had this plaster on my crutch
It didn't hurt me very much
Harried and caught, held against my will,
for years the cage has held me ill,
here a knife,
whoopee!

I think somebody gets killed in the end... which makes this poem really a woowzer poem!

You can be really proud of this poem.
If your library has a poetry reading night, I do wish you would show up with this poem and read it aloud and then beam a brilliant smile at the end.

The members of the poetry club would applaud and think you are the most brilliant poet in the group.
ABSOLUTELY!
