Dread Queen of the Night

Mighty Hecate, Dread Queen of the Night,

Roaming the dark

with red-eyed hell hounds

and the dead paying court,

We Call Thee

O Great Nameless One of the Dark Moon,

destroyer and restorer of life,

depenser of justice,

ruler of the cross-roads,

the howling of dogs

tells us you are near,

We Greet Ye,

Triple goddess of fertility,

of good and plenty and of the moon,

Patroness of Magick and Withcraft,

mighty Crone, ruler of the underworld

and of the wanning, dark Moon,

We Bow To Thee,

Mother of Words and spells,

bringer of unwelcomed truths.

O mighty healer,

we reconize your mastery,

yielding to your harsh rule,

Come to Us,

O Queen of the Night.

I love the prayer/incantation quality of the writing here. Wondeful flow to this also, it carries really well when spoken aloud, which I always feel is an acid test.

Congrats on the bronze, well deserved!
