Desire and Greed

I am but a teddy bear nestled upon the sheets of desire and greed,
Showing these wayward woman so lost upon desolate reverie,
Heartlessly abused amongst passing age they see no foul,
Yet the world does call their name in ways unheard.
I open their eyes to a possibility, a life they can not conceive.
Woes are the way of man, fallacies they do believe,
I'm here to break the nature, to which they all fore see.
In a game I've caught myself, many lonely nights to here I have deceived.
Who am I to stand on a heart closed and bleeding,
I play these games in a better light, though I shall never receive.
My life upon another’s whim, another’s whim shall cease.
What I cry is in it for me? As my own heart does need.
An empty shell I lay alone, though this bed not empty,
Emotions have run astray, despite their need I seek.
Used to abused I lay in neglect,
An open heart seeking something more,
And something more I will not find.
I am but a teddy bear nestled amongst the sheets,
The sheets of desire and greed.
