As I lay in my bed
Unable to sleep
I try counting sheep
Thats what mum said
At last I fall asleep
Then I start to dream
I’m sitting by the stream
In a field with sheep
Oh if only I had an ice cream
It would be a treat
In this hot heat
I’m glad this is only a dream

An great use of the prompt into dream. The change of tone between the second and third stanzas is so dream like.
'As I lay in my bed
Unable to sleep
I try counting sheep
Thats what mum said'
as always mum is right
