Lord, you came to us as a baby
Grew up into your youth
Then you became a man
Teaching us with all truth
You taught us how to pray
Giving us your personal touch
You taught us how to love
And care so very much
Lord you healed the sick
You calmed the raging Sea
Lord you stilled my every fear
By dwelling inside of me
Lord you taught us your personal prayer
Gave it to us for our own
Guaranteed us a place to live
Within your Father's heavenly home
Lord hold us tightly in your arms
Outstretched they can hold us all
Whisper gently in our ear
Remind us to stand tall
You are our Maker, Creator and God
Someday soon you will come for me
And all your others dwelling upon this sod
Who have served you faithfully
