my tear fell into an ocean and was quickly lost. the aquamarine ripples
twinkled like your eyes just after midnight at the park.
you are another oxygen consumer
and yet remain hypoxic as
darkness swallowed me whole like a sushi roll;
it devoured my raw flesh
&& you saw my face but not my lips
as I mouthed words super-glued to my brain
our Converses are like the spectrum of our
Technicolor problems.

Merry meet,
Congratulations on winning the Bronze. This was a really odd contest. I love the way your lines came together in this, it really is amazing. You can read so many different meanings into what the poem is about. That is the best kind of poetry there is. Congratulations again on your win.

Wish you could see my smile right now...
Honestly, this poem reminds me of the fabulous free verse that the poet blackday writes.
Thank you for making my day so bright because I loved reading this poem of yours.
It turned out really FINE and splendid. FUNNY, too!
