i like it its fun
i get scared sometimes
i dont like men
they all look like daddy
when they come close
i get real scared
i cant move or breathe
mommy just left for work
she left us here with daddy
daddy calls my big brothers name
he is 6 im only 4
bubby looks at me scared
he go to the living room
he start cryin
bubby is runnin down the hall
daddy is chasin him
daddy catches him
bubby falls
screamin like it hurt
daddy breathin real hard
i always try to hide from daddy
im next i know
daddy always find me
i cant see all the water in my eyes
bubby runs with his pants down
here come daddy
he opens the closet door
he grabs my arm and it hurt
i scream cause im scared
"drop'em" daddy say
daddy hurt me
he hurt alot
if daddy can hurt me
every man can
he scared me, ripped me,
raped me.
Author notes
This was inspired by a family that our family is helping out in a time of need. Two of the children were raped by their father one of them is terrified of men. he was about 3 or 4 when it happened (not just once) he is about 6 or 7 now and is still scared of men. He story inspired me to write this, i thought it was sad but very touching still. I thought id share.
Please give me any suggestions

This was an incredibly hard piece for me to read, for the sad fact that there are parents who would hurt their children like that. The Bible says something to the effect of it being better to tie a millstone around one's neck and jump into the sea than to harm a child. Your piece is . . . powerful, to say the least. I am speechless.

This is truly sad and heartbreaking. A man that abuses children should receive the death penalty, as far as I'm concerned there is no greater crime then ruining the life of a child. How can someone live with themselves after raping their own children? Disgusting. Thanks for sharing and glad your family is helping them out in a time of need.

So Very Sad
It's a sad shame and breaks my heart to know there are monsters out there who use and abuse others
When will we wake up and stop the abuse? (shakes head sadly and in disgust)
Your poem touched something within me; may we all find peace from the hurt and pains of life -
This is sad. it makes me cry. the pain people can inflict on a helpless child. It bothers me alot to think about it.

An epiphany
I realize that this is from the point of view of the child. For the sake of the reader, it could use an epiphany. e.g.'the police took daddy away' A sense of closure that does not leave the child bleeding on the floor.
