Finally home at last I grab a book head out back
lay down on the ground to read
Nice warm sun, my eyes soon close
as my thoughts drift to thee
I dream of you I always do
I long for you gentle touch upon my skin
today everything seems so real,
On my tummy I feel your fleeting touch
that can't be you're not here
I opened my eyes to see a butterfly had landed on me
lay down on the ground to read
Nice warm sun, my eyes soon close
as my thoughts drift to thee
I dream of you I always do
I long for you gentle touch upon my skin
today everything seems so real,
On my tummy I feel your fleeting touch
that can't be you're not here
I opened my eyes to see a butterfly had landed on me
Author notes
sorry if this isn't good, not what I had on my mind before school. But I came home to my kitty dieing, I promised I would post after school so here it is.
When I was in grade school and high school I use to go lay in the yard when I got home and read.
