formal life? This makes me wonder what religion you are. Mormon? Or do you just believe in past lives? If you have already told me forgive me- I have had a lot of conversations with people on here and do not always remember who is who. PS love the McCain photo.

A very profound question and I am sure you already have the answer, you just can not see the beauty in yourself. Now the formal life is a wonderful question I think I would begin with do they even exsist?

This reminds me of some lines in 'Blade Runner,' which I just watched again. The question has been asked, with various inflections, for centuries. The best-worded answer I've found, which I think also fits with Scripture, is a line from 'God's Trombones,' by James Weldon Johnson, where God is creating the world, and says, "I'm lonely--I'll make Me a man." Really great when James Earl Jones reads it! Get the DVD!
