My eyes were closed, my heart was mute,
My soul was calm and down.
I couldn't see joy, happiness,
The beauty all around.
My heart was pounding suddenly,
My dreams began to speak,
And I was drawn into a land
That no one else could see.
There was no crime, there were no laws,
And neither time nor speed,
There was just nothing special there,
Or things that feed our greed.
There simply was a meadow there,
And flowers all around,
A tree, a river, sun and shade,
And dancing in the dawn
The child I once had used to be,
My long-forgotten dreams
Of happiness, and purity,
Of innocence and peace.
This was the moment in my life
When first for many years
My eyes were open, and I smiled,
'cause clearly I could hear:
"I'm dancing in the dawn,
Childish as can be.
And I believe, one day,
I'll finally be free."

it is obvious that you have a huge heart. you may find that you are feeling drained and vulnerable at times from the overwhelming magnitude of carrying around the weight of the world...just remember that you make a difference every day just because you are ALIVE...There is no one in this world who can do what you do...A story like yours has never been told...peace & light, KP

What can I say? I'm running out of adjectives.

Beautiful, lovely, sweet, et cetera...
A brilliant poem, so full of hope and joy.
Well done!
Keep it up!
