Mesmerized

Missing image

From her radiant auburn hair

That sets my soul on fire,

To those blue eyes oh so fair

She is my heart’s desire,

For such beauty men have fought

Struggling through the ages,

With lusty bid, ‘tis love they sought

By-way of their poetic pages,

But such as I, would bravely fight

With promise of her favor,

I’d battle Satan with all my might

For her sweet love to savor.

Hehe... this is good! I love the sort of medieval feel to it.

Definitely awesome. The rhyme was perfect, too! You have outdone yourself, yet again.

Just like you said - we are both happily married and merely friends - but you wrote this oh so well and I knew romance was your genre.

Thanks for the AWESOME entry, dear brother!
