Who is that in the looking glass
Staring back at me
I just don't recognize her
Can't believe what I see
Is that my image that I see
Have I grown up so tall
Whatever happened to the little girl
That was me when I was small
I can't believe I'm all grown up
I am a young lady now
I'll have to remember to be adult
Can I do it? Holy cow!
I think that I shall always be
Just a kid at heart
I still like doing childish things
But I'll try to make a new start

I don't ever want to grow up either. I hope that I stay like the person in this poem. Great job!

I think that I shall always be
Just a kid at heart. -
Ahh yes, I think a lot of us are kids at heart!

But we must move on and make a new start as adults often! A lovely poem for the picture! Thank you.

The poem is inspired by the picture so it should be credited
And a stunning poem, the rhyme is fantastic as is the flow. I think we all have a child in us somewhere, I know I do. Beautifully penned, thank you so much for entering, good luck

This has a really sweet and innocent feel

I didn't use the picture with my poem, so I didn't think I had to credit the artist in the AN box.

This is so sweet
It reminds us that there's always the child within,
Holy Cow, i almost forgot how old i was too
"I can't believe I'm all grown up
I am a young lady now
I'll have to remember to be adult
