I'm waiting
for you to leave me
in your simplistic, resistant
way.
I can't live with
or without you
so come to your senses now.
You're as beautiful
as what's at the core
of this stone.
I wish I could
shatter
but your hungry eyes
would still see
right through me.
If the oil on our hands
was clean
we'd be the purity
of the teenage dream.
If oranges peeled themselves
and everything smelled
a little bit better,
I wouldn't think so much.
My whole world is grey
and I wasn't prepared
for the weight of your
kiss.
My ears are bleeding songs
that will never have a name
and my teeth are
sugar-coated with bubble gum lies.
If I hear your lovely alto
one more time I'll scream.
And if I don't...
I'll die.
Meanwhile
my elbow's on your spine
and the bluebird forgot to
sing and we
forgot to cry.
Your voice sounded
like the malicious version
of your mind.
I miss the real you.
But I guess I deserved what was coming,
when I push you so far away
then bring you so close.
I always knew
you'd hate me in the end.

Have you ever loved anyone
so much
it hurt to be with them?

Oh that is sad and so sweet all at the same time! I love your work! i like this part in particular:
If I hear your lovely alto
one more time I'll scream.
And if I don't...
I'll die.
I sometimes feel like that you related to me on a very deep level I really love this thanks for entering. -

Gorgeous. You've pieced this together in a way i've never read before. Though i've got to say it was most definitly worth the read. Very interesting to say the least.

I really like these lines...
"My whole world is grey
and I wasn't prepared
for the weight of your
kiss.
My ears are bleeding songs
that will never have a name
and my teeth are
sugar-coated with bubble gum lies."
