Angelic Reality

A face of remembrance again in vision,
Beautiful as once was,  more than passing memory serves.
The comforts in embrace to melt away passed years apart,
Words to cherish as this reality surpasses all reverie.
Days in pity, months in hardship, years in wasted emotion,
Serve now no purpose to a meaning this light brings.
Years do teach the lessons needed in life,
Giving the answers to what this soul does seek.
This mortal beauty again in the path of my conscious,
My thoughts ever revolving around her whim.
My soul speaks upon passionate nights together,
As my body extending the softest caress of crimson devotion.
Nothing I would not do for this heavenly soul,
Bound to the human realm of tortures undeserved.
It is the song of my heart to please this angelic creature,
To show her the beauty that can be held.
Question my motives not, though current time does reason,
My actions are not of greed, not of selfish gain,
Never in contempt of negligence.
Only of a bond constructive of a love so truly felt,
To a life together in the harmony of what could be.
Come again my earth bound angel,
And let me hold you again this night,
These arms are for your comfort,
This heart is for your love,
These actions are for your need,
If only for this fleeting night,
Let me hold to heavens light,
You,
Me,
Us.
