A little kindergartener,
Looking up at me,
"What do you think
You would wear, and
Would it look good on me?"
Already concerned
About what she wears,
Especially the earrings
that we both love from Claire's!
"Vic Vic, is this my size?
And is there one in yours?
This outfit is so lovely!
I love these pink plaid skorts!!"
"Oooh! What pretty jumpers!
I really would like one,
But only if Vic Vic approves.
She's all over fashion,
But I know how to work it
With tons of stylin' moves!!!"
Wow! That child amazes me,
But still, I'm not surprised.
She was born to be a model,
I can tell,
Even while she's still pint-sized!
Author notes
This poem is about helping my little cousin (who, by the way, looks exactly like me!!! except smaller) go shopping for the first time. She is starting kindergarten so Nana and I wanted to make it special by going to really stylish, but classic, children's stores!
