Lost Without You

The twilight zone allowing limited light
for the repetitious crickets
is the heart in my chest pounding for you.
One can say blind crayfish swimming endlessly
in the cold pond so distant
from the dark zone is my mind;
I am so lost in thought I cannot see.
The vision I once possessed-
Seeks out of the hungry beetles eating
Its way out of the decaying bark.
Therefore, my eyes are so hungry
for something that died in a summer’s eve.
The setting of the sun focuses on the spider
Conceiving  a web on the column of the cave.
If the spider and her technique
Happened to be attached to my wrist,
My fingers would learn a lesson-
And like the spider,
Forbid the flies on the web to leave.
With imagination, I am the beast hungry for love,
With logic I am the lion prowling for comfort
Towards the darkest parts of the cave.
The bat latching onto the teeth
of the cave upside down is you-
Blind as can be.
I am the piercing echo
Aiding you your way.

The "repetitious crickets" line grabbed my attention, making me want to go on and read the rest of the poem. Nice job.
