the curse of repression

Caverns of darkness, crowding deepest pain,
linger over foggy abyss tonight.
Calling true sin's passion to be seated,
ushering vileness to flow through veins....

Her torment shoves voices through back room walls,
leaving silence when no one answers tears.
But for the mocking her mind would be blank,
oblivious to life... now a farewell.

Demonic talons grip an empty soul,
quench thirst with blood poisoned insanity,
feast upon flesh now rotted to the core
and vomit bile decayed through all time.

Hatred's snare holds this spirit as captive,
refusing to release icy steel bonds,
placing their mark upon adhesions grown
and suffocates air as it is inhaled.

Stifled love represses even itself,
blinds eyes that now scream within their own pain,
forbids the touch of another's longing
and deafens its' beat to the listening.

One last shovel of dirt is tossed above,
forever encasing dreams forgotten,
murdering hope that once struggled to live
and creating this opportunity...

goodbye to all who have read feeble words,
may you pass this grave with no tears falling,
walk quietly onward without despair
and pray the curse never touches your life...
