The dance of words
inclined to inspire.
Melodius undertaking,
sigh, sigh, sigh.
Humble impressions
joyful renditions;
glitter the night,
with dazzling ilk.
Highlighted moments
of shrewd mood teases.
Fit for a King,
or imps, within reason.
Joyful platitudes,
arranged to impress.
Entire ringtones
competing at their best.

a good piece that swerves the spirit into new ideals, let the music of this crazy old world spin us all dizzy.

I love the metaphor you've used in combination of music and the poet. It was a fun read. I'd have to say my favorite part is:
"Highlighted moments
of shrewd mood teases.
Fit for a King,
or imps, within reason."
You have so much style within the four stanza, it really makes this a terrific poem. Very well done.
Thanks for entering the option contest ~ It was my pleasure to read your work, as well as give a review.
Best of luck to you,
Florida Sunshine
P.S. I like the background...
