Scorched

Missing image

One pressing of lips

becomes mesmerizing wand,

waving a seething spell,

spreading a firework veil

throughout the body.

 

Two minds,

drop their disguises,

eyes engulfed by enchantment's starburst

beholds an Adonis or Venus

where ordinary face once stood.

 

Heart's become doors to lover's Eden,

Adam and Eve reborn,

walk through opening

to garden sleeping inside,

scorching it with fiery entwinement.
