I am intrigued by a feeling of love
Not a new love, an unknown love
Maybe not even unknown
Just lost love
In a relationship where everything feels so right
Though everyone is against it
Where you are accepted by a family
Though still don't know if you are meant to be
These are the feelings that I once had
Not doubting his love for me
But doubting his need for me
Now with a sudden change
From a place where we had let go
Let go of all we fought so hard for
To a place where his feelings for me
His love and need for me
Is displayed clearly for all to see
Including me
No longer is there a feeling of emptiness within me
No, now I am once again filled by
His love, our dreams
and what our future will be
Not only as a couple
But as a family
