Oblivious to disconnectedness,
shards of a broken heart seek displacement.
Vile hatred spews forth from the fire,
leaving ashen tears for dark feasting eyes.
Putrid odor scorches bloody nostrils,
cauterizing frayed vessels memory
and intensifying love's defiling
while entrapping poison within her soul.
Deceitful, even unto her own self,
vomit filled denial covers her skin
while green bile struggles to its' relief
and pain wrenches muscles of her lost soul.
Talons, sharpened with memories long past,
scratch through eyes no longer able to cry.
Dead to others, alive not to herself,
the grave beckons each inhalation's flare.
Should forgiveness be offered in this time?
Should tender love ever show its' face here?
Should kindness shed a tear as it looks on?
Should hatred be held in her arms of hate?

It's sad to know that the person you wrote this poem to is you. However, when there is no other way I also HATE myself without mercy. Thanks for entering my contest and good luck to you.
