There was once a garden of Eden
when stone age people lived
in the arms of nature.
Our minds were the fruit
and we did ask questions
eating away at paradise
not because we asked questions
but because our questions led to technology.
Technology and science didn’t destroy paradise
but greed invented money,
capitalists got us thrown out.
In truth we weren’t thrown out
we left on our own,
we left in a exodus
heading for bright lights
and a mall filled with venders,
like a moth flying into a flame!
