Baby of five,
Innocence violated…
Adding to statistics, my parents divorced.
Moving around, could never settle…
I attempted college,
Then love found me.
A wedding & a birth,
Away from all I once knew…
I make a new life!

this was an extra assignment given through my summer online english 1 course through a local technical college. they asked us to write our lives in 40 words or less, and i wrote it in the form of a poem. was quite the challenge for me as i tend to run on with poems. lol
