As I stare out the window
My eyes catch a sight
Of the elegant willow tree
So faithful and tall standing upright
I remember when I was younger
full of adventure and dreams
I would climb that willow tree
Under the sun's glowing beams
I could got there in times of trouble
A place where I could be alone
I could cry up there for hours
It was my very own thrown
I went to the willow with my friends
The limbs were amusing to dangle from
And the branches fun to climb
With my friends i was never glum
Of all my childhood memories
The willow tree is one of the best
I will never forget it
To have that I tree I am blessed

This is very sweet and filled with feelings of pure joy and delightful memories of childhood. I also have very fond memories of a tall willow tree that stood in my next door neighbor's yard. She and I would swing from its long weeping branches. Thank you for your entry and for reminded me of wonderful times.
