To the earth I whisper greetings
that float gently through the air
lit by my fire, my flame a portrait there
Next to a lake of calming water
I sit and listen spell bound
as she weaves her captivating magick all around
My feet are bare and touch her soul
hand rests upon trees, her sentinels
I am lulled into love of her realm
from emerald swaths of grass
to sweeping sapphire skies
all that between lies
Her voice of nature’s caw
humming, buzzing and zipping
through a wind’s storm thrall
Never gone from my sight
and threaded intricately into my soul
Roots thirsting, drunk from her Goddess’ bowl
