Just the push of a button
Starts the morning off right
I watch the opening of Windows
In the glow of the warm lights
I drink in the cold, crisp Mountain Dew
As I bask in the familiar sky blue
Waiting patiently to the welcoming tune
Lounging in my fruit of the loom’s
The morning ritual has begun
Even before the first rays of sun
No rest for the wicked or the nerd
As I devote another day to the computer
Author notes
My morning wouldn't be complete without a Moutain Dew and booting up my Windows XP and starting a game.

well done, this sounds like me on the weekends, only it isn't a mountain dew, it's a beer.

lol, nice poem... ^^

ah, this has such a nice laid back quality - all is well in the world when you can kick back with a Mountain Dew in your Fruit of the Looms.

This made me smile, the Mountain Dew (haven't had that in years but it would provide sugary fuel in the a.m) and spending all day on your computer.
