I close my eyes to block the hurt
Smile to mask the tears
Hiding endlessly
Behind the ruse that all is fine
In a desperate attempt to fade away
Deep into worldly shadows
To exist no more
Except in my minds reality
Away from the terrors
That haunt my very existence
And sanity's ever eluding escape
To no longer be a prisoner of circumstance
Or even whats expected of me
And to finally cease to be.

It is a sad piece. I can feel your emotions oozing out of every line. I am sorry you feel this way. It does get better, at least that is what everyone keeps telling me. Being that I am only a few years older than you, it has to be true, right? Nice flow great metaphoric usage. A good write. Keep ur chin up.
