The lights all off, the world at rest
I know all the words, I could pass any test
Instead I lie here, lost and alone
Waiting on nothing, not even the phone
Unable to sleep, with him on my mind
I just want the love we've left behind
The feel of his breath upon my skin
Understanding why they call it a sin
His arms around me, his lips against mine
As it all ends I know I will be fine
It was a false reality
I can finally see
His love was lie
To help him get inside
My head, my heart, and I fell for it all
