Pine needles don't need the sun.
The sun needs the pine needles.
Pine needles don't come out on their own.
The sun must sing and beg of them
to bless the world with their presence.
Pine trees don't need soil.
The soil needs the pine trees.
Pine trees caress the soil
as blackmail for its burglary of seeds.
The Trees don't need the clouds.
The clouds need the trees.
the clouds need something to feel responsible for.
The trees don't need rain.
The rain needs the trees.
The rain would fall to the earth's graveyard
if not for the trees' boots of roots.
The trees do not need man.
Man needs the trees.
There's a reason those cocky bastards need to burn.
