Lord, bring me peace,
That I may give peace to those who have none.
Show me love,
That I should love like none the Earth has ever seen.
Lord, teach me wisdom,
That I can fairly mediate the quarrels around me.
Give me patience,
That I shall not be rash.
Lord, show me light,
That I may share that light with those in darkness.
Tell me words,
That will wake the sleeping hearts of humankind.
Lord, I pray that I may follow You
The best I can, without harming Your children.
Lord, keep me safe as I go through life,
And give me the strength to keep believing.
