Boss

Boss 10-3-07
A new day with the same thoughts.
Am I really that much of a slave to my own thoughts and actions?  I go the same way to work everyday. I perfect everyday for my perfect boss.  Let’s presume I am the boss for one sec.
If  I can stand beside you ‘boss’.
And look at you funny until you began to doubt yourself.
Now let’s assume I am the boss. 
Because I am. Don’t doubt it.
Before I am consumed in this self doubt that this life slavery impedes on me,
I promise I will take back my name that has been marred.
Maybe you have seen me dance on the tables right after they were wiped clean but maybe you just didn’t understand why I was dancing on the table in the first place.  If you did maybe you would take my hand and dance with me and call a friend to join us.  Sometimes you have to move outside of that mastering gate. 
Come out of that vombifying circle and shake it up a bit.
People tell me not to do that. 
So unethical. 
So strange and weird. 
The labels and assumptions don’t worry me.  I’d rather be a slave to my own thoughts and actions rather than yours. 
While I’m at, since I’m boss. 
My thoughts and actions are positive and resourceful in many ways.  Maybe not in your ways but definitely in mine.

I am boss.  My thoughts are:

I am strong
I am beautiful
I am rich
I am smart
I do care
I am not insane
-
I will not be broken. 
I will not be toyed with
Baby I am grown.

My blessings outweigh my cons in life (whatever cons is short for)
My disadvantages are part of the process.  It’s not about getting through the storms but dancing through the Seattle rain.
I’m willing to feel the pain. I’ll just grit my teeth and brace myself.

You can’t tell me to bow down. 
You can’t tell me to get out the game. 
Don’t tell me to stop dancing. Take the contemptuous look out your eye.

I’m not going live in your world because this is mine.  I make it slave for me.
