The fallen fruit is not as sweet
as the apple still hung on the tree
to pluck the knowledge forbidden us
is to learn the meaning of living free
Burn
I will set you to burn
and you'll worship the flame
as I lay you down in the earth
Cry
as you're painting the sky
fallen down getting high
burn the oil of soul's rebirth
The garden gates have been closed
cherubim standing watch on the door
each gatekeeper that waits outside
has more strength than the one before
The castle walls that we've built
hem us in and keep the world at bay
Sisyphus rolls the stone of life
Prometheus chose to light the way
In the temple they mend the veil
that was rent when the angel died
all the towers have fallen in on us
the foundation is set in foolish pride
Burn
I will set you to burn
and you'll worship the flame
as I lay you down in the earth
Fall
all who beckon the call
will they reckon my name
finding out what a soul is worth

What is a soul worth? AS we worship the flames, when all other faith has died! The apple from the forbidden tree, first sin and man's own destructive side to sin! Great penning!! ~Sie
