The transition between the times
There are many roadways and portholes
Where they hide like earthquakes and then
Suddenly will abrupt & rock or shake the world
With each breath you take, and voice you hear
One fell deeper into a trance, deeper and deeper
And one day so deep, in such a darkness
That they fell into the days of future…
Tomorrow is a trance, it is street hypnotism
As I can see, the way God’s playing his dice
Although she was not a fortune teller
But now I can feel the weight of her words
Earlier it was speech, now as I see the movie
I think she told it much before, but, I hope
Through these portholes, I will drag her into me,
One day she’ll feel that probably we could make
Good script writers, and,
Tomorrow would no longer be a secret
If we get one, we know what’s tomorrow,
And that is the only way
To get out of the trance, trance of time…

Quite clearly it is the second quotation...

A creative piece.
Love the stanza
Through these portholes, I will drag her into me,
One day she’ll feel that probably we could make
Good script writers, and,
Thank you for your entry and best wishes

This is an interesting poem, and I enjoyed the read
I was wondering whether you meant to have 'portholes' at the beginning and 'potholes' at the end, or were they meant to be the same - just seemed like it would fit to me
I really like the wistful feeling of this poem - I wish you the very best in the contest!
Keep writing
Polly
