The Sky is Crying

I looked up into the darkness,
And knew that i was foresaken.
That no light will perge this darkness,
no sun to warm my frozen heart.
And as i looked up into the darkness,
A single drop of water fell on me.
Then another came in persuit,
It seemed that the sky was crying.
It cried for me and the darkness,
It cried for the light to come back.
As the water carried on falling,
A single shard of light appaered.
As the moon tried to break through,
tried to break through this unrelenting darkness.
As the moon battled the darkness,
I lay on the ground hoping.
If i go to sleep now,
All my bad dreams will just go away.
If I go to sleep now,
He might come back and save me.
He might remember he used to love me,
but i know that this is not true.
No one can save me from this darkness,
That is just all in my mind.
