This is beautiful - L1 captures what I have seen many times but never was able to verbalize. I like how it reads like a state, or phase of the moon.
    Congratulations on the silver.

Now, this is awesome. I love the idea of the moon looking veined behind leafless branches . What a neat view. I can picture it clearly, but wish I could see it with my own eyes . I agree with Myron, it's beautiful.

    thanks for entering and g'luck

    beautiful

This is a beautiful, austere haiku showing the way a moon can be viewed from a particular angle. The images are vivid and clean.

    Good luck in the contest,
    myron.
