In black pools of agony
You wait with baited breath
For somebody to come
And lift you up again
What you didn't expect
Was to be pushed off the edge
Falling forever
By the very person that was going to rescue you
Trying to escape from reality
You close your eyes
Drifting off into your own paradise
The demons snatch you away
Waking once more into this harsh world
The blackness closes in
This time, you let it take you to parts unknown
Falling softly into it's embrace
Nobody noticed you
I doubt they ever will
As you fall forever
Just another soul, lost along the way

Wow, an amazing write. Beautiful imagary and you portrayed despair really well. I liked the part about being pushed over the edge by the one you thought would rescue you. That was really creative. You write beyond your years. You have talent.
