Lost in confusion
I can feel my soul ache
Twisting and turning,
My heart's going to break
I was so very cautious
To keep my feelings at bay
To not get so close,
That I can't walk away
The pain that I feel
Is tormenting my mind
I cannot escape it,
There's no where to hide
Standing alone
Tears stream down my face
I fall to my knees
Hang my head in disgrace
The love that I seek
So desperate to find
Will always remain,
Lost somewhere "in my mind".

This was so sad. I always feel so sorry for the people who feel this way. If you just learn to love being single true love will find you. As far as the poem, very powerful emotion and nicely written with good flow and nice rhyme scheme to it

I love the subtle ryhming in the poem! It is wonderfully written and very touching and sad. The only thing I would change, is in the second to last line, change 'alway' to 'always.' It seems to flow better that way for me. Thanks for entering!
