bougainvillea vine
stalls a japanese beetle
what’s not to admire?

Author notes
One of those iridescent beetles just buzzed past me, but did a slow-down by the bougainvillea - it made me admire the thing too, well the both of them.
This is a "panwulf" form of haiku - similar in form to traditional haiku only the last line ends in a question.
Panwulf is an invented form created by Pania and Cynewulf.

I like this - especially as it was a moment you actually captured - it works the better for it - well done

Great 'ku. You gave me the picture beautifully; it's nice to see a new form used!!!

I like
It is cute and has great imagery, plus I learned something new...panwulf...never knew. Thanks for sharing your work and the lesson.

Love this!!!
You've squeezed an INCREDIBLE amount of realistic (considering how you just saw it) imagery and...wow.
The remix of the haiku I don't mind at all because you've done it so well...
Thanks for entering, this was brilliant
