Devoured Whole

 

 

This darkness is rapid

with unforgiving sin

a place where no one

would want to give in

 

She traveled on

into the night

wishing hard

with all her might

 

Progress faded

as she delved right on

promptly praying

for nothing to go wrong

 

Green misty air

from around course flesh

everything old

and nothing fresh

 

One final look

and they had her soul

she had no chance

she was devoured whole

    oooh sweetie this is fantastic, very dark & eerie.. just the kind of write I love.. the darker the better. the rhyme was great, and the flow flawless. I absolutely love it

    Love where you went with the prompt. The last verse was wonderful, so strong and final. I just love how it ended. The imagery joining the picture prompt and "she had no chance, she was devoured whole" was just genius!
