She wasn't the one in the bridal gown
nor the one wearing His golden promise.
She was the only feeling sad and down
yet determined to stop the official kiss.
Her passion for Him still grew strong
all She wanted was Him to be aware
To set Her words right from wrong
and find out if He still did care.
He left Her for another girl's heart
unknowing He also left her heartbroken
Leaving Her picking up the remaining parts
and on this Day, her peace will be spoken.
To mend Her internal wounds she found
that only His love would set Her free
Letting Her true emotions resound:
she'd give it all up for Him eternally.
With a passion running so deep
she will not bite her lip, but speak:
"I love you darling forever and always
even if it's not me you're wishing stays."

Wow! This is so beautiful and sad! The last stanza
is my favorite because its just so deep! This poem
is so full of emotion! I had to read it a couple of
times though because I'm so use to poems that ~flow- lol..
but when I caught the rhythm it rocked!!! Very groovy

I have not been on in awhile and wanted to congratulate you on your trophy. It was well deserved and I felt that you would win one for your writing is fantastic! "Asphyxiate on your warm embrace
lost in the cross-roads of your eyes
Gaze into the true beauty below the face.
underneath your external disguise.
Focus only on that lovely mind
undesiring of a matching physique
Flattered endlessly, you're too kind
My heart is always yours to keep.
Knew from the start it was fantasy
yet when it's all said and done it's clear
It wasn't meant to be a harsh reality
and also not something to shed this tear.

*NOTE* Please understand that I'm not trying be mean when I say this, but doesn't it seem like everyone loves DARK...hehe. He's so cuddley. You are a very lovely lady, and they way you've reacted to all that has happened within the last month or so, makes me very proud to know you, and one poet that I truly can say is someone to look up to. You're so true and innocent with your emotions in this poem. Love, so complicated, so... ugly at times... but in the end completely worth-while, even if the one you love isn't with you, but happy for his lifetime. Great write, I truly loved it.
