Ardent stone

I
soft breast
against his palm
sends sweet waves
through cupids hands,
lithe alabaster limbs,
slow tilt of
her head
awakens..

II

..marble love,
second kiss suspended,
anticipated for centuries,
mother to pleasure
father to desire
tortured for eternity,
in stone.

Author notes

had to put 2 dont usually respond to photo prompts but really liked it, theyre both 20 words, and i think can stand alone, but i wrote 2 and they seem to run on to each other nicely so im leaving them-dq if you must

Very nicely done, a tragic romance indeed described very well for the prompt. Good job on grabbing up the bronze...Scott

    Romantic!

Beautiful and sad and perfect for this pic. Thank you for entering and I never DQ when the Muse has been inspired. I enter some myself knowing the rules. It's not about the winning, it's about the writing.
