What Money Does to the Mind






I have often told myself if I ever cash
a ten thousand dollar check
I would take it in one dollar bills.
Spread it out on the floor
or a cheap hotel
and roll naked in it.

But I don't think the bank
would give me that many ones
so now I have a better idea.

Unfortunately I think
the back up it may cause
would eat up my profits
with the plumber's bill.

    Reminds me of a nice restaurant I ate at with my husband years ago. He was driving a taxi at that time; and paid the dinner check with one dollar bills
