The time between

Seconds tick by endlessly,
the time between
one thought
and another.
A thought that captures
a moment
and spins it into
a tapestry of memories.
Woven into the fabric
of a single lifetime,
left behind
to gather dust and tears,
laughter stains threads
and tomorrow adds
another image.
Still, seconds tick by
the time between
one thought
and another.

I really enjoyed this, the lines seemed to be spaced out while reading giving the illusion of time slowing the then gathering speed.

A wonderfull write and I wish you all the best in the contest.

Hello. A nice write, nothing I can be critical about, so sorry on that count. This write has a strange metaphysical vibe to it. Your write reminds me of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAk2wUkmguk&feature=related . I wish you well in the contest. My regards.

A lovely reflection on time. It leaves a bittersweet feeling.
