such a sport
much to contort
a beauty, of views
wished to watch in pews
once I open up the blinds
I see a darkness, a evil
but its so bright
all those little lights
so pretty, like a virgin woman
the Botala Ishat
like a swirling vat
a demon swiveling along the sreet
a beautiful sight
so dark, yet so bright
confusing really
but still, its like opening another world,
your world
it shows you cannot wish the world away
yet it shall forever stay
but then
you pull the cord
the lights flash, the darkness fills inside
the world is then there
then its smaller, and smaller...
then its nothing at all,
just on the other side of your wall

Sounds like life in the big city. It's a view I have sometimes seen from my window myself but it varies, I think. Mostly, the big city stuff is not something I see in the morning but something I hear in the middle of the night. Maybe "vice" is too strong a word but there are disturbances that go on sometimes.
I'm not really sure if that's what you are getting at but, in any case, it's an original write.

This really is awash with darkness and quite the metaphorical piece. I confess I don't know what a Botala Ishat is but it seems like some kind of eastern demon (I shall have to look it up.) A very creative take on the prompt. Thank you.

why thank you, I did my best to make it so. Botala Ishat I would believe (I learn Hebrew) means Virgin Woman
