Who could have known on that fair winters day
That such as you would find a space to shine
A young boy then, not knowing you’d be Mine
Not even knowing the place where you lay
The sun shone down on friends and I at play
Loving the feel of British sand and brine
Tugging on kites attached to balls of twine
As you were born so many miles away
Now years have passed and you are next to Me
The winter chill forever lost its bite
Together now for all the world to see
Together, even when you’re out of sight
Hearts joined as one, I only think of thee
A past apart, but now a future bright

Oh, what a wonderful tribute to your new family! You are all blessed!
I didn't know you wrote sonnets! Did you see the column that's spotlighted today on the history of the sonnet? It's the fourth in a series of fascinating articles. I hope you get a chance to check it out.

Almost every time i read something that You have written it brings tears to my eyes: You write from the heart and it touches my heart; Your words are like a balm that takes the sting out of life.
Before i met You i had resigned myself to the fact that i was going to be alone, but the day W/we met was the day that i knew my life was complete.
i love You more than i could EVER express in words or any actions and i will be FOREVER grateful that You found me.
Thank You for this amazing wish ... Hallmark could take a lesson or two from You
Forever Yours,
