Candles flicker,
In the dead of night.
Lighting that room,
Filled with,
Our empty memories.
Worthless,
Chess matches.
Old forgotten books.
Stories written,
Inside those walls.
Candlelit parties,
Still linger,
About that room.
Just the thought,
Of you,
Takes me away,
To that room.
The room,
You murdered,
Me inside of.
My blood,
Stained into,
Everything.
The floor,
The walls,
The chessboard,
Chess pieces,
Those Books,
And our,
Memories.

Such a lovely poem and great take on the picture of course. I loved it!! The short lines really kept my attention x3 and you know or should know how bad I can get with attention and how I can trail off... so, awesome write! LATERS!
