A kiss was all we had then.
We were not common men.
Not like those who'd turn their backs
on a begging soul.
No, never!
We were there, and their hands we'd hold.
We heard the rambling in the city streets,
where sophisticates would roam and meet.
We were like moon and galaxies far.
They'll always be whispers of who we are.
A kiss was all we had then.
We were not commen men...
No, not at all.
